Mission

Relevance is a common buzz word in the American Christian culture.  We believe that the only eternally effective way to be relevant is to follow, unabashedly, the person of Jesus Christ.  This does not mean throwing around Christian phrases and trying to convert others to following a list of do’s and don’ts.  Rather, we long to persuade others to cultivate an intimate relationship with God, and to be a fellow traveler in their journey of following Christ; encouraging them to abandon all in their pursuit of Jesus Christ, that they may experience the transformative power of a relationship with God.

How we are doing this is really a what; and that “what” is Apache Youth Ministries.  Joel is a long time friend of Ron and Darcy Everingham (the founders of AYM).  We are (in 2008) moving out to Arizona to be a part of their team.  That team will be our community as we join forces to reach out to the Apache youth in Whiteriver, AZ.  (Click here for info on Whiteriver)
